Breaking the Code

A selection of photographs from the rehearsals of Breaking the Code.

“Alan Turing, mathematician and computer pioneer cracked the German Enigma code at Bletchley Park during World War II. For this, he was decorated by Churchill and lauded by the state. He also shattered the gentlemanly English code of sexual discretion by making little attempt to disguise his homosexuality. For this, he was arrested on the charge of gross indecency. Compassionate, amusing and insightful, ‘Breaking the code’ is a play about the remarkable mind of a mathematical genius and the tragic fate of a man.”

Performances:3rd,4th,5th,6th,10th,11th November 2009 at Kew Bridge Steam Museum.
